Our Story

The Malcolm X Podcast Studio was built by Talk To Muslims (TTM).

Our journey began back in 2004, volunteering our efforts at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, MI.  During this time the youth found their niche in bringing technology to the center in new ways. In addition to live broadcasting and creating short films, the youth were building their skills to better serve the needs of the center and laying the framework for them to become difference makers in the community.

Fast forward to 2015, the youth formalized their efforts into a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit called Talk to Muslims.  We are now supporting audio, video, lighting, and mobile app needs for some of the largest Muslim conferences in the United States, and have continued to work as a 100% volunteer organization.

Why a podcast studio?

Our mission is to empower youth and young adults by innovating and supporting Islamic endeavors.

The creation of this podcast studio gives us a direct in hand in following our mission in the community. It also allows us to help other people find their passion and what they believe in.

The studio was named after a legacy – Malcolm X. We believe that his voice and mission helped shape minds and drive passion. We want to keep that legacy going, and people will be reminded of that when they use our studio.
